From Tales from New Arabiyya
Under the seclusion of darkness, below an unseen hollowed building, the figure of Data Sarkhoor was about to regale tales to the shiniest of tiniest eyes.
Sarkhoor was a lanky, tall Indian adult. Here he delivered assorted tales with all the soulful Sihr refuse. Soul of the Hashasheen order, regaling those who were cast out. The refuse of wastes through ritual retelling of these stories to build character. Tales from many pasts, many futures to younglings’ assassins hopefully—intoned to the present to the waiting gallery of eyes.
His guiding aim is to infuse their very hearts and minds with faith, prayer, and guidance to seek union with the light of Allah. Data Sarkhoor, one of the greatest natural Sihr assassins ever to grace the innards of The Hashasheen outpost, enjoyed imparting wisdom and hidden wealth of the impossible fates to the future agents of the Creator and Empire.
Agog with fascination, they gazed at his gentle golden light as it continued to seethe, unmanifested, latent, and lurking within his skin, flowing through the veins and through his blood.
“To become an assassin is a vocation that was indubitably strange and blessed. However, does one, wrathful, endowed with intangible magics of Sihr, a soul, behave unto the world? What are the marks that a Hashasheen wielding Sihr creates?” he queried.
The children were quietly ushered into the small grotto-like chamber, perhaps thirty dhira high and fifty-five dhira in diameter. Strangely, this ceiling was a low nine dhira. The children were here to ensure their safety, as above-ground battles were commencing.
